Foam Injection

Sheet, slab, and liquid foam insulation

Ideally suited to low-temperature applications, there are many different types of foam available on the market in forms varying from sheet, slab, pre-formed pipe section and liquid polyurethane foam

Foam comes into its own in cold applications where its closed cell structure provides an extremely efficient insulation with low water permeability and moisture absorption – an excellent form of insulation for refrigeration and ammonia systems.

Typical service temperatures are:

  • Rigid from -75°C to +120°C
  • Liquid 2 pack system -50°C to +100°C

Typical applications include:

  • Rigid foam:
    • Standard density – for wall, floor and under floor insulation and refrigeration, marine and transport use.
    • Medium density – for medium structural strength and load-bearing applications such as small to medium tank bases.
    • High density – for high structural strength and load-bearing applications such as large tank bases.
  • Liquid foam:
    • Onsite hand mixing to fill cavities voids, etc in fridges and freezers. In-situ foam injection for pipework, valve boxes, refrigeration pots and tanks.

Spraying foam insulation to walls, ceilings and under floors for thermal insulation e.g. portable offices, containers, etc.
